ECIC & ICSTI 2022 postponed to 29 August - 2 September 2022
Monitoring the ongoing situation in Europe and the rest of the world the VDEh in consultation with the program committee and partners has decided to postpone ECIC & ICSTI to 29 August - 2 September 2022.
Since international travel will still be very difficult at the beginning of next year, a well-attended and therefore successful event in March gets more and more unlikely.

The new date of the event will be 29 August - 2 September 2022.
The location of Bremen and the event venue will remain the same.
We are aware of the inconvenience for everyone involved, but health and safety are the highest priority.

8th ECIC & 9th ICSTI 2022
Following the success of two independent Congresses the European Coke and lronmaking Congress (ECIC) and the International Conference on Science and Technology of Ironmaking (ICSTI) will take place as joint events in Bremen 2022.
Both events together will cover all fields of ironmaking including pre-product steps such as iron ore agglomeration and cokemaking.
The 8th ECIC sets the focus more on practical, plant operational results and plant construction and the 9th ICSTI more on fundamental research work and evaluation.
Both events will provide a forum for best practise and state of the art technology, new developments, new ideas and research results.
About 700 experts are expected to attend. An important exhibition area will bring together key equipment suppliers from the ironmaking and cokemaking industry.
